Subject Description
This subject focuses on the advanced frameworks and issues that can be used to assess and compare different system development methodologies. The subject evaluates various tools and techniques for selecting systems development methodologies. The subject will develop knowledge on the phases and stages of the systems development life cycle, to which they are applicable. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of selected system development methodologies, techniques, tools, frameworks, policy, standards or emerging issues.


Subject Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1. Apply the advanced solution oriented tools and techniques employed across a range of system development methodologies, including Agile methodologies.
2. Assess and analyse the needs of different systems development methodologies and then select an appropriate methodology for those projects.
