Subject Description
On successful completion of the subject students will be able to conduct critical thinking, analysis, evaluate literature, develop a research proposal, discuss ethical consideration to conduct research, explain the role of professional code of conduct.

Subject Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1. Assess the present legal, regulatory, social and ethical perspectives on the use of information technology.
2. Critically review the exercise of professional ethics in research and industry.
3. Critically analyse a body of literature concerning a specific research question or problem related to professional practices in the IS/IT industry.
4. Plan, design and implement a research project to address a research question.
5. Communicate research report findings to stakeholders and non-stakeholders in IS/IT industry.
