Subject Description
This subject prepares students from any discipline to undertake a workplace experience which connects with that discipline. Once students complete subject requirements (the Internship Ready Workshop Series and submit all related documentation) they are eligible to receive liability coverage and may participate in workplace learning programs provided by units across the university, or source their own internship external to the university.

Generic Extra Information:
To satisfy the requirements of this subject students must attend two workshops prior to their work placement or work integrated learning experience, one workshop post placement/experience as well as complete a reflection report.
Subject Objectives:
The student will develop the following learning outcomes: 1. Apply career decision making models to their current and future workplace opportunities. 2. Engage in reflection activities which can be used in communicating their graduate qualities and Employability skills in future job seeking contexts. 3. Make quality job applications and positive impressions at interviews. 4. Complete the necessary documents which will satisfy all legal and insurance provisions for an internship.
