Subject Description
This subject introduces the student to a basic understanding of the vocal, physical, emotional, and interpretive skills required by professional actors. Students study movement, acting, singing and voice.

Subject Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate competencies in the skills necessary to be an actor
2. Apply a methodological approach to the acquisition and development of performance skills
3. Apply learnt skills into practice-based studio work and performances
4. Communicate clearly in the specific technical language of each skill
5. Reflect on and articulate the process of skills learning
